Our Statement on COVID-19
As circumstances seem to be ever-changing in the world, Cat Care of Vinings is continuing to explore more ways to provide exceptional service AND keep our staff and YOU safe during such uncertain times. We are considered an essential business in the community and will continue to update our status and provisions so we can be here for you.
We are taking the following precautions to minimize Covid-19 transmission:
- We are asking clients who have traveled (internationally or domestically) within the last 3 weeks OR who are currently sick with flu-like symptoms to call us and arrange appointments or other needs with “curb-side” drop off or exchange.
- If you are not able to come in for any reason, we now offer Telemedicine services via the Anipanion App (https://anipanion.com/pet.html). This provides you with a text or video call appointment option so we can help you in “real-time” while doing our part to protect our staff and the community.
- Medications, refills and prescription diets are in good supply if you need something, though prescription food is moving fast; if possible, try to pre-order food by 10 AM Thursday mornings so we can have what you need when you need it.
- Did you know we have an online store? You can order food through our online store and have it shipped straight to your home! This saves you 5% if you set up auto-shipping for direct delivery: https://catcareofvinings.vetsfirstchoice.com/.
If you are unsure whether your cat needs immediate care, treatment or need direction on how to determine the best next steps, give us a call--we can help you with that decision asap!
These are uncertain and unprecedented times and Cat Care of Vinings is committed to being here for YOU, your BELOVED, and our COMMUNITY too!
Be well and stay safe and healthy,
Michael D. Friedlander, DVM and The Staff of Cat Care of Vinings

Our goal at Cat Care of Vinings is to combine the best practices in veterinary medicine in a low stress environment focused on the unique needs of cats. Visiting the veterinarian can be stressful for everyone! Please let us know how we can help your visit be as pleasant and successful as possible.
Our Mission and Pledge to you:
We recognize the importance of cat-specific veterinary care for our patients and clients; care and quality of life decisions are often complex.
